For Visual Teachers: This collection features 92 woodcuts despite the 53 mentioned in the description above. The scenes depicted all span the Old Testament with a few Deuterocanonical scenes (apocrypha), there are no New Testament wood cuts in this collection. Pros: Price and a couple of rare scenes (uncommon subjects of art), like Nadab and Abihu getting burned. Cons: The woodcuts are the equivalent of black and white pencil art. No color and somewhat simplistic, at least if you compare it to Holbein's paintings.
