W. Denton's A Commentary of the Acts of the Apostles is a critical and exegetical commentary on the Acts of the Apostles. With a critical eye, Denton works through the text of Acts verse-by-verse, analyzing the language, history, and culture of the first-century world. Denton concludes that the Book of Acts is a historically reliable and accurate account, and the events descibed in Luke's account should be taken at face vaule as reliable and trustworthy.
W. Denton was Professor at Worchester College in Cambridge. He also served as Vicar of St. Bartholomew. W. Denton is the author of A Commentary on the Gospels and on the Epistles for the Sundays and Other Holy Days of the Christian Year and A Commentary on the Lord's Prayer.
