Arrows and Anecdotes is the biography of both D.L. Moody, and his song leader, Ira Sankey. It also includes illustrations that Moody used in his preaching, sorted by topic. This is a very handy guide to those who want to reach others with God's Word.

It has been a regret expressed by many that an enlarged collection of anecdotes and forcible words by D. L. Moody had not been published. This volume endeavors to supply that need, and in it will be found many “Arrowy words, which kindle as they fly.” This work was released while D. L. Moody was still living.
