Charles C. Ryrie is professor emeritus at Dallas Theological Seminary and has served as adjunct professor at Philadelphia Biblical University, Bibelschule Brake, and The Criswell College. He is the author of more than thirty books, including Ryrie's Basic Theology, A Survey of Bible Doctrine, What You Should Know about Inerrancy, and Ryrie’s Practical Guide to Communicating Bible Doctrine, in the Preaching Resources Collection (18 Vols.).

Dr. Ryrie is a favorite of mine and the Ryrie Study Bible is a great resource! The notes are helpful and insightful. The only reason it does not have 5 stars is that I think some notes could be further expounded upon, but, then again I haven't undertaken writing a study Bible.
