Overview

More than a one-man, one-denomination, or one-emphasis study resource, this Bible unfolds the broad spectrum of Pentecostal and Charismatic teaching. Articles and commentaries are simple to read and understand--clarifying difficult passages and concepts. Special sections include Kingdom Dynamics thematic studies linked throughout the Bible, 500 Word Wealth studies, Truth-in-Action lessons, and thousands of annotations.

Please note: This product does not contain the Bible text, but it does include all the study notes found in the equivalent print version. You can purchase your preferred Bible translation or in a Logos Bible Software collection.

Top Highlights

“ The word denotes distractions, anxieties, burdens, and worries.” (1 Peter 5:6)

“The use of tongues is a means of private self-edification. This practice does not denote selfishness, but rather, spiritual strengthening. Prophecy, however, builds up, encourages, and comforts others in the church.” (1 Corinthians 14:3)

“I can do all things: It is important to note that the emphasis is not so much on achievement as it is on willingness to allow Christ’s power to sustain in difficulty and scarcity, and to enhance the enjoyment of abundance and prosperity. Such faith is a stimulant to believe for all Christ’s sufficiency in facing all life’s circumstances.” (Philippians 4:13)

“Thus, prayer is not so much a weapon, or even a part of the armor, as it is the means by which we engage in the battle itself and the purpose for which we are armed. To put on the armor of God is to prepare for battle. Prayer is the battle itself, with God’s Word being our chief weapon employed against Satan during our struggle.” (Ephesians 6:5)

“You also have become dead to the law: The analogy is not perfect, for here we died, not the law. But the point is clear. Because a death has occurred, old obligations and powers are broken, and we are no longer under a system of trying to obey in our own strength.” (Romans 7:4)

Was one of my first Bibles. I remember taking it to church every Sunday and Wednesday when I first got married. We'd put our baby into the car. One time I left it on the roof and we drove off, first corner we took it flew off and hit the road. Batter and bruised but it was a treasure for a long time.

My wife and I have used the print editions of the Spirit Filled Life Study Bible NKJV for over 20 years. It is so easy to use and understand. I particularly love the Kingdom Dynamics sections. This Bible is easy to use and easy to understand.

This Bible is in my top 5 favorite. Jack Hayford is the Executive Editor and has done a great job in guiding the themes, Word wealth and Kingdom dynamic sections. From a Charismatic perspective, this Bible strikes a really great balance between (lite) Academic and Spirit-formed theology. User friendly and highly recommended!
