Concordia Electronic Theological Library: Collection 5 (3 vols.)

I am a Baptist and a Calvinist, but I love and respect my Lutheran brothers and sisters for their commitment to the Bible, their confessions, and tradition. They do not meddle in the culture or politics and are true to Christ's commission to preach the gospel of justification by faith in the finished work of Christ, and they certainly are more loving and non-legalistic than some other traditions. I have been reading Lutheran theologians for about thirty-five years, particularly Luther, Gerhard, and Walther. I just purchased Luther's Works and wish Evangelicals could breathe more of the spirit of liberty pervades Luther's writings.

These are okay for information of the Third Generation Confessional Lutherans, aka Bronzies. There are major flaws though especially considering the proper understanding of the Church and historical Lutheranism in Mueller's book. Koehler has similar problems. They had a lower view of the Liturgy than Luther and the Lutheran Fathers.
