Disappointed that they weren’t clear that this was just the study notes.

Well, this was a bait-and-switch. Apparently, this is only the study notes from the NOAB, not the text itself. Even at $15, that's a little much. It's very frustrating, considering how much money many of us have invested in this software over the years! They need to be clearer about what's included in this "digital" edition.

I love the print version of the NOAB. I have used it through several editions. The current version is the 5th, though with the updated edition of the NRSV, I hope we will have a new version of the NOAB soon. Does anyone have any idea when the Logos version will catch up to the present version?

This 3d edition is missing much in the way of annotations than the 4th edition. As an example in 1 Cor 12:12-26, this version only says, "The well-known analogy between the human body and the body politic"—what analogy? The 4th edition says, "Paul’s metaphor of the church as a body is derived from Greco-Roman political discourse, where the figure functioned to urge concord. In the well-known fable of Menenius Agrippa, the Roman senator compared a strike by the common people to a revolt of the hands, mouth, and teeth against the belly, resulting in the death of the body. In ancient politics, the body analogy was essentially conservative, portraying the established order as 'natural.' Paul uses the metaphor subversively to question conventional assumptions about status and honor."

The "Third Augmented Edition" of the NOAB is a wonderful study Bible. I do own the current 5th edition in other Bible software, but this is the version that lives on my prayer desk and feel at little disadvantage with having this slightly older version in Logos. It is concise yet highly informative. And a great companion for anyone who prefers the NRSV. The ecumenical and scholarly nature of this volume makes it a must for anyone who wants to study the Bible.

A low blow! Although the NOAB is presently in its Fifth Edition, this is the 2007 Third Augmented Edition. Why would Logos NEWLY issue an EARLIER edition of study Bible notes? Are they just recycling their older Wordsearch acquisition? As a minimum, I would expect "Third Augmented Edition" to appear in the title since this is an older edition. (To Logos' credit, however, the small picture of the book is correct.)
