Thomistic Ressourcement Series (18 vols.)

In the mid-twentieth century, a group of leading Catholic theologians—including Henri de Lubac, Hans Urs von Balthasar, and Yves Congar—began a theological ressourcement, that is a “return to the sources.” Their aim was simple: to foster a spiritual renewal of the church through a return to the sources of scripture, the Early Church Fathers, and the medieval scholastics such as St. Thomas Aquinas.
