This is both a commentary and Bible Study in each volume. Commentary which is set up more to think about a passage than technical in Nature. Yet expresses the ideas of each passage. Yet at the end is a Study Guide of questions for each Section of the Commentary. To think even more into the passage as you read it. Having a commentary then putting in Christian Themes to center on specific Themes that also have the same Study Guide at the end. This is a good set for a layman who wants to get deeper into the Word. We often over look various Ideas that could be talked about in a Passage. But for self study or small group the Study Guide questions add a chance to do a more meaningful look at what is being taught. Sometimes we only see a part of the picture this set can maybe expand ideas not thought of as we just read the Passage. SOmewhat sermon like handling of the passages involved. That can easily be seen and understood. For some this is what they need to get deeper into the Bible without all the Technical analysis of various words used in the passage.
