Top Highlights

“rote the historical records and letters which have come down to us. Through” (Page 1251)

“Faith is the attitude whereby a man abandons all reliance in his own efforts to obtain salvation, be they deeds of piety, of ethical goodness or anything else. It is the attitude of complete trust in Christ, of reliance on him alone for all that salvation means.” (Page 358)

“In both OT and NT joy is consistently the mark both individually of the believer and corporately of the church. It is a quality, and not simply an emotion, grounded upon God himself and indeed derived from him (Ps. 16:11; Phil. 4:4; Rom. 15:13), which characterizes the Christian’s life on earth (1 Pet. 1:8), and also anticipates eschatologically the joy of being with Christ for ever in the kingdom of heaven (cf. Rev. 19:7).” (Page 615)

“Its broad meaning is the process by which an entity is brought into relationship with or attains the likeness of the holy.” (Pages 1057–1058)

“The Day of the Lord is thus the occasion when Yahweh actively intervenes to punish sin that has come to a climax.” (Page 261)

It refers to 'palestine' even when the name did not exist!!! quotes: - "Palestine and Syria in the time of Jacob." - "Hophra duly invaded Palestine during Nebuchadrezzar’s siege of Jerusalem" Under the topic 'palestine' we find term like 'the Israelite settler' And here we find about the land, the climate etc. Under the topic Israel we only find the division of the tribes, kings etc. But not about the land, climate or so. And quote: "The settlement in Canaan". It likes to use the words settle, settlements and even settlers..... hhhmmmm Sounds very anti-Zionist to me!! And so anti-Israel. #fail

Very modern dictionary. Quote on the subject of homosexuality within Sodom: "but neither account amounts to a wholesale condemnation of all homosexual acts. On both occasions the sin condemned was attempted homosexual rape, not a caring homosexual relationship between consenting partners."
