Digital Verbum Edition
The New King James Version is a complete update of the 1611 King James Version, also known as the "Authorized Version." The editors made efforts to preserve the original KJV Bible's format while modernizing the English it contains. The result is what many would consider much better "readability."
The New King James Bible is one of the few modern translations based on the "Western" or "Byzantine" manuscript tradition. This makes the New King James Version helpful for studying various interpretations from original manuscripts.
