Overview

This Yearbook represents a compilation of articles around the science of Bible translation. Due to the Coronavirus situation we were not able to meet for the 16th Bible Translation Forum at the Diakonie in Nuremberg-Puschendorf. However, research on Bible translation is continuing, so we decided to ask for articles. Seven authors responded, with nine articles, a small but extensive compilation.

The focus of this yearbook is on theological, linguistic and translational, as well as missiological questions. We will learn about The revision of the Zuercher Bible (Daniel Keil) and the regularities of revision Bibles. The genre of children‘s Bibles brings us to A critical summary of the German Uebersetzung fuer Kinder
