The work of German philosopher theologian Paul Tillich casts a long shadow on twentieth-century Christianity. An early opponent of Hitler, Tillich was dismissed from his position at the University of Frankfurt in 1933. But his innovative theological voice would not be silenced, and he joined the faculty of Union Theological Seminary in New York shortly thereafter. This collection brings together some of his most important writings. You’ll find many of Tillich’s well-known sermons and theological insights, as well as his autobiographical work, On the Boundary.

I've heard of Tillich but never read him. I sure would have appreciated some sample pages here. This is a lot of money for such small books.
