This volume contains the variable portions of the services for nine of the Twelve Great Feasts (excluding Palm Sunday, Ascension, and Pentecost, which can be found in the Triodion and the Pentecostarion). You’ll also find the texts for some other important feasts surrounding these nine, as well as an introduction to the services of the church and their structure.

Mother Mary is a nun at the Monastery of the Veil of the Mother of God in Bussy-en-Othe, France. She has been involved in translating a number of divine service texts into English.
Kallistos Ware is a titular metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Great Britain. He served as Spalding Lecturer of Eastern Orthodox Studies at Oxford University from 1966–2001.
