Using letters and correspondence—nearly 25,000 materials in all—Robertson tells the story of John Albert Broadus, using his letters to reveal the person and character of one of the greatest Baptist theologians. This volume contains chapters on Broadus’ childhood, family life, and education, as well as his prolific preaching ministry and lengthy tenure at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
