This would be a good commentary for a layman. I noticed the author heavily utilizes the work of both Leon Wood and Edward Young, but he did a good job of synthesizing their work. I wish more time was spent on Daniel's 70 weeks - especially the calculation of the end date of April 6, 32AD. I believe there is stronger support for April 3, 33AD and the author never even hinted at this date as a possibility.
