Top Highlights

“A Christian who no longer has to struggle against the world, the flesh, and the devil is a Christian who has fallen either into sin or into complacency. A Christian who has no conflict is a Christian who has retreated from the front lines of service.” (Page 332)

“Man does not become spiritually dead because he sins; he is spiritually dead because by nature he is sinful.” (Page 52)

“Nothing is more appropriate for God’s people than to bless Him for His great goodness. In all things—whether pain, struggle, trials, frustration, opposition, or adversity—we are to praise God, because He is good in the midst of it all. For that we praise and bless Him.” (Page 7)

“Fourth, Satan attacks God’s people by hindering their service to Him.” (Page 347)

“The breastplate of righteousness that we put on as spiritual armor against our adversary is the practical righteousness of a life lived in obedience to God’s Word.” (Page 352)
