About Theophilus Stork
Theophilus Stork (1814–1874) is the author of Luther at Home, Luther’s Christmas Tree, Jesus in the Temple, and Children of the New Testament. He and his family were beloved leaders in nineteenth-century American Lutheranism, contributing significantly to the church in ministry and scholarship.

Well put together. Have read several different stories on how Luther found the Bible. This is one that makes sense. SHortly after that was the Summer Storm. That moved him from the world to becoming a Monk. And telling of his Journey. It will take time for him to come to the Faith we know of him Today. But the journey start story is well told and that is only the first chapter.
